On Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m., OTHER SIZE GALLERY by WORKNESS CLUB awaits you for a new event dedicated to the dialogue between art, cinema and lived life.
Art curator Maria Savarese will introduce the conversation between Mimmo Calopresti, award-winning director and 2025 Silver Ribbon winner for Cinema of the Real, and film critic Francesco Della Calce. <\/strong><\/mark><\/span> <\/p>

After meetings with Peppe Lanzetta and Lello Arena, WORKNESS CLUB continues its journey of cultural and human exploration: an invitation to slow down, listen and be inspired by those who turn reality into storytelling.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Born in Polistena and raised in Turin, Mimmo Calopresti is among the most authentic voices of contemporary Italian cinema.
With films such as The Word Love Exists<\/em>, Happiness Costs Nothing<\/em> and I Prefer the Sound of the Sea<\/em>, he has been able to delicately portray the soul of a country, moving naturally between fiction and reality.
In his documentaries he explores social and cultural themes, from working-class Turin to the Calabria of passions, returning a cinema that observes and welcomes, capable of transforming everyday life into a universal narrative.
Today he is artistic director of Nuovo Cinema Aquila in Pigneto, a landmark for art house cinema.<\/p>

Talking with him will be Francesco Della Calce, critic and journalist, contributor to Il Mattino<\/em> and LEFT<\/em>.
Curator of reviews and exhibitions dedicated to the great protagonists of Italian cinema, including Gian Maria Volont\u00e9 30<\/em> and CLAUDIA.
