Deoro, a multifaceted artist who ranges from mosaic to painting and action painting, brings his most recent production to Milan: a series of portraits on paper that capture attention with their powerful expression and drama. Faces with pronounced features and contorted bodies emerge, upon which the central theme of &#8220;Make Up!&#8221; unfolds: makeup, understood not only as an aesthetic artifice, but as a human attempt at transformation and aspiration to divinity.<\/p>\n<p>Through layers of pastel that draw new boundaries and outline new contours, Deoro reveals the fragility of the human soul and the wounds that mark the body and soul.<\/p>\n<p>Dario Giancane describes Deoro&#8217;s portraits as figures suspended between reality and imagination, like &#8220;footprints or handprints on rock walls.&#8221; These are essential, deeply introspective portraits that challenge the viewer to confront the truth hidden behind appearances.
