There is a time when villages light up, stones tell stories, and the streets once again fill with voices, laughter, and wonder. It is the time when Christmas stops being just a celebration and becomes an experience to be lived together.
Christmas in the Villages of Salento is a path of events, emotions and sharing that from Nov. 29 to Jan. 5 runs through Spongano and the towns of Diso, Botrugno, Marittima and San Cassiano, transforming squares and alleys into places of light, encounter and beauty.
A project designed by WORKNESS CLUB to enhance the area, strengthen community ties and give adults and children alike an authentic Christmas of memories, smiles and wonder.
A journey that comes from children
The beating heart of this journey is them: the children, with their imagination, their ability to dream and the pure joy they can transmit to anyone around them.
Christmas in the Villages starts from the very youngest, from their hands that create, from their eyes that shine in front of the light, from the spontaneity with which they manage to transform every moment into magic.
Because the truest Christmas is not just made of lights and decorations, but of shared emotions, simple gestures and communities that huddle around their villages.
A Christmas that is lived, not watched
Artistic performances, shows, music, markets, traditions and gathering moments bring to life a calendar designed to engage families, children, citizens and visitors in an immersive, participatory experience.
Each event is a piece of a collective narrative that speaks of belonging, identity and beauty. A Christmas that unites generations and restores centrality to places and people.
Porsche Christmas Lights - Where children dream and adults are enchanted
Among the most evocative events in the program, Porsche Christmas Lights represents a moment of great emotion and prestige: vintage Porsches pass through the villages of Salento like trails of light, reflecting the enchantment of the Christmas illuminations on their bodies.
An experience that blends elegance, tradition and wonder, capable of enchanting young and old and transforming the streets into dreamlike scenery.

A project of WORKNESS CLUB in collaboration with the municipalities of Spongano, San Cassiano, Andrano, Diso, Marittima and Botrugno and Thymós Art Academy
This path was born out of a deep passion for the area and a desire to restore value to the communities in which WORKNESS CLUB operates, creating experiences capable of combining beauty, emotion and participation.
A project immediately embraced and shared by the municipalities that will host the events and the Thymós Art Academy, which will perform with its artists.
