On Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. WORKNESS CLUB will have the honor of hosting a special event: an exclusive meeting with Giovanni Esposito, one of the most versatile faces in Italian film, theater and television, in dialogue with film critic Francesco Della Calce. It will be a fascinating journey through nearly 30 years of his career, made up of anecdotes, stories from the set and reflections on the art of entertainment. Actor, comedian and director, Giovanni Esposito is one of the most beloved figures on the Neapolitan and national artistic scene. Born in Naples in 1970, he graduated from the Bellini Theater Academy of Dramatic Art, working with such directors as Silvio Orlando, Roberto Andò, Vincenzo Salemme, Alessandro D’Alatri and Ruggero Cappuccio.
In cinema he has collaborated with such masters as Paolo Sorrentino, Woody Allen (To Rome with Love), the Manetti Bros and Antonio Capuano. He has starred in international productions such as “The Tourist” and in Noah Baumbach’s recent “Jay Kelly” with George Clooney and Adam Sandler. Popular on TV with “Stasera tutto è possibile” and series such as “I bastardi di Pizzofalcone,” in 2024 he made his directorial debut with “Nero,” presented at the Turin Film Festival.
