There is a moment, in Spongano, when time seems to stop.
It happens when the sun goes down, the ancient stones are tinged with gold and the lights begin to reveal the discreet charm of Borgo Filograna. It is in this setting that, last night, a concert capable of combining art, history and emotion took place. art, history, music, emotion.
Organized by the Municipality of Spongano, the event featured pianist Margherita Mariano and tenor Giorgio Errico, fine interpreters of a repertoire that spanned some of the greatest masterpieces of Italian music. Nessun dorma, Caruso, ‘O sole mio and many other pieces resonated within the historic walls, enveloping the audience in a magical atmosphere.
Borgo Filograna: a telling place
Located in the heart of Salento, Borgo Filograna is much more than a location. It is an interweaving of stone and memory, a place where history meets beauty and hospitality. The carefully restored spaces, interior courtyards and architectural details tell of a noble yet living past, ready to host events celebrating culture and conviviality.
In the evening, the Borgo lights up with a warm and enveloping light, capable of transforming every experience into something unrepeatable. It is precisely this atmosphere that made yesterday’s concert not just a musical moment, but a true sensory journey.
